     He was a secular priest.¹ He lived in 1573 at Paris, France^G.¹ He was Professor of Philosophy at University of Navarre^G.¹ He was a tutor to the Cardinal de Bourbon in 1576.¹ He was the Rector in 1584 at Paris University, Paris, France^G.¹ He lived in 1600 at Scotland^G.¹ In 1609 he was arrested and imprisoned.¹

     Mary Ann Dewhurst married Reverend Francis Charles de Lona Lane, son of Reverend Charles Lane and Frances Catherine Sandford, on 12 November 1879.¹
     Her married name became Bracewell.¹ From 12 November 1879, her married name became Lane.¹

     Eliza Scott married Reverend Anthony Mann Simkins in 1812 at Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G.¹ She died in 1833.¹
     From 1812, her married name became Simkins.¹

     Elizabeth Murray was the daughter of Sir Andrew Murray of Blackbarony and Grizel Bethune.^1,2 She married, secondly, Sir Thomas Hamilton, Lord Priestfield, son of Thomas Hamilton of Priestfield and Elizabeth Leslie.¹ She married, firstly, James Borthwick of Newbyres on 20 April 1572.² She died circa November 1612.¹ She was buried on 23 November 1612.¹
     Her married name became Hamilton.¹ From 20 April 1572, her married name became Borthwick.

     Sir Andrew Hamilton was the son of Sir Thomas Hamilton, Lord Priestfield and Elizabeth Heriot.¹ He married Jean Laing, daughter of John Laing of Redhouse.¹ He died in 1634.¹
     He held the office of Lord of Session in 1608.¹ He lived at Redhouse^G.¹

     Jean Laing is the daughter of John Laing of Redhouse.¹ She married Sir Andrew Hamilton, son of Sir Thomas Hamilton, Lord Priestfield and Elizabeth Heriot.¹
     Her married name became Hamilton.¹

     Sir John Hamilton was the son of Sir Thomas Hamilton, Lord Priestfield and Elizabeth Heriot.¹ A contract for the marriage of Sir John Hamilton and Agnes Hamilton was signed on 26 June 1602.¹ He died on 28 November 1632.¹
     He lived at Magdalens, Linlithgowshire, Scotland^G.¹ He held the office of Lord Register [Scotland] in 1622.¹ He held the office of Lord of Session in 1622.¹ He also had three daughters.¹

     Agnes Hamilton is the daughter of William Hamilton.¹ A contract for the marriage of Agnes Hamilton and Sir John Hamilton was signed on 26 June 1602.¹
