     Commander Aubrey Arthur Douglas Grey was born on 4 September 1894.1 He was the son of Egerton Spencer Grey and Ethel Harriet Wigan.2 He married Joan Fabian Dickinson, daughter of C. H. Dickinson, in 1928.1 He died in 1979.1
     He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded and became a POW.1 He was awarded the Stanhope Gold Medal.1

     He was educated at Gordonstoun School, Elgin, Morayshire, ScotlandG.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Hampshire Regiment, atachetd to 2nd Battalion, Parachute Regiment.1 He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Fusiliers (Territorial Army.)1 He lived in 2003 at The Coach House, 4 Beech Avenue, Worcester, Worcestershire, EnglandG.1
