     Sir Edward Hastings was baptised on 21 May 1382.¹ He was the son of Sir Hugh Hastings and Anne le Despenser.¹ He married, firstly, Muriel de Dinham, daughter of Sir John de Dinham.¹ He married, secondly, Margery Clifton, daughter of Sir Roger Clifton.¹ He died on 6 January 1437/38 at age 55.¹
     He succeeded as the 8th Lord Hastings [E., 1295] on 2 November 1396, de jure.¹ He was appointed Knight before 6 November 1399.¹ In 1403 he was imprisoned in the Tower of London, possibly for an involvement in Hotspur’s rebellion.¹ In 1413 he was again imprisoned in the Tower of London.¹ Circa 1417 he was imprisoned in Marshalsea, for debt, after refusing to pay costs for his heraldry lawsuit.¹ In 1421 he lost a judgement in the Court of Chivalry to the right to wear the arms of the feudal Lord Abergavenny (against Reynold Grey, 3rd Lord Grey of Ruthin.)¹

     Philip Grey is the son of Sir Edward Grey and Catherine le Strange.¹ He married unknown Westwood.¹

     Sir Algernon Arthur St. Lawrence Lee Guinness, 3rd Bt. was born on 11 May 1883.¹ He was the son of Captain Benjamin Lee Guinness and Lady Henrietta Eliza St. Lawrence.² He married Winifred Hall, daughter of John George Hall, on 10 July 1928.¹ He died on 26 October 1954 at age 71.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ In 1911 he was bankrupted.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of Acting Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Navy Volunteer Reserve.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Guinness, of Ashford Castle, co. Galway [U.K., 1867] on 20 January 1915.¹ He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He gained the rank of Flight Lieutenant in the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve (Air-Sea Rescue.)¹

     John George Hall lived at Hamilton, Ontario, Canada^G.¹

     Winifred Hall was the daughter of John George Hall.² She married Sir Algernon Arthur St. Lawrence Lee Guinness, 3rd Bt., son of Captain Benjamin Lee Guinness and Lady Henrietta Eliza St. Lawrence, on 10 July 1928.¹ She died on 11 May 1978.¹
     From 10 July 1928, her married name became Guinness.

     Susan Rosemary Lee Guinness was born on 28 October 1931.¹ She is the daughter of Sir Algernon Arthur St. Lawrence Lee Guinness, 3rd Bt. and Winifred Hall.² She married, firstly, Samuel Charles Gillchrest in April 1953.¹ She and Samuel Charles Gillchrest were divorced in 1956.¹ She married, secondly, Keith Rawlings Hall in May 1958.¹
     She was also known as Shoonan.¹ From April 1953, her married name became Gillchrest. From May 1958, her married name became Hall.¹ She lived in 2003 at Weir House, Kibworth Beauchamp, Leicestershire, England^G.¹

     Samuel Charles Gillchrest married Susan Rosemary Lee Guinness, daughter of Sir Algernon Arthur St. Lawrence Lee Guinness, 3rd Bt. and Winifred Hall, in April 1953.¹ He and Susan Rosemary Lee Guinness were divorced in 1956.¹

     Simon Patrick Rawlings Hall was born on 18 August 1959.¹ He is the son of Keith Rawlings Hall and Susan Rosemary Lee Guinness.²

     Timothy Mark Lee Hall was born on 30 August 1967.¹ He is the son of Keith Rawlings Hall and Susan Rosemary Lee Guinness.²
