     Caroline Humphreys was the daughter of W. C. Humphreys.² She married Hardinge Stanley Giffard, 1st Earl of Halsbury, son of Stanley Lees Giffard and Susanna Meares Moran, on 28 August 1852.¹ She died on 30 September 1873, without issue.¹
     From 28 August 1852, her married name became Giffard.

     John George Embleton Welch married Elizabeth Cowan on 22 May 1916.¹ He died in 1963.¹

     From 7 August 1907, her married name became Giffard. After her marriage, Esme Wallace was styled as Countess of Halsbury on 11 December 1921.

     Katharina Belzer von Albertis was born on 30 October 1969 at Konstanz, Germany^G.¹ She married Rudolf Anton-Günther Johann Friedrich-August Mandred Hartmann Freiherr von Erffa, son of Rüdiger Freiherr von Erffa and Altburg von Holstein-Gottorp, Herzogin von Oldenburg, on 30 April 1998 at Freiberg, Sachsen, Germany^G.¹
     From 30 April 1998, her married name became von Erffa.¹

     Johanna Barbara Maria Freiin von Erffa was born on 16 April 1999 at Kronach^G.¹ She is the daughter of Rudolf Anton-Günther Johann Friedrich-August Mandred Hartmann Freiherr von Erffa and Katharina Belzer von Albertis.¹
