     John Boyle of Kelburn was the son of Robert Boyle of Kelburn.¹ He died in 1555.¹
     On 28 October 1495 he had sasine of Kelburn.¹ In 1536 he was granted a charter of South Ballochmartin, Isle of Great Cumbrae.¹ He had five other sons and six daughters.¹

     John Boyle is the son of John Boyle of Kelburn.¹ He married Katherine Wallace, daughter of unknown Wallace of Cairnhill.¹
     He lived at Ballikewin, Isle of Great Cumbrae, Scotland^G.¹

     Katherine Wallace is the daughter of unknown Wallace of Cairnhill.¹ She married John Boyle, son of John Boyle of Kelburn.¹ She married Robert Barclay of Pearston.¹
     Her married name became Barclay.¹ Her married name became Boyle.¹

     Robert Barclay of Pearston married Katherine Wallace, daughter of unknown Wallace of Cairnhill.¹

     John Boyle was the son of John Boyle and Katherine Wallace.¹ He died in 1599.¹
     His heirs held Ballikewin until 1721.¹

     David Boyle is the son of John Boyle and Katherine Wallace.¹ He married, firstly, Katharine Boyd.¹ He married, secondly, Margaret Crawfurd, daughter of Patrick Crawfurd of Cartsburn.¹
     He had two sons and two daughters by his second wife.¹ He lived at Figgidoch, Isle of Great Cumbrae, Scotland^G.¹

     Katharine Boyd married David Boyle, son of John Boyle and Katherine Wallace.¹
     Her married name became Boyle.¹
