     Major Charles Frederick Gordon Bond was born in 1911 at Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.² He was the son of Charles Gordon Bond.² He married Evelyn Hinchliff, daughter of Chamberlain Frederick Thomas Hinchliff, on 5 January 1935 at St. John-the-Baptist’s Church, Instow, Devon, England^G.² He died on 10 April 1945 at Borgerwald, Germany^G, killed in action.²
