     Frances Douglas was the daughter of Hon. John Douglas and Lady Frances Lascelles.¹ She married Lt.-Gen. Hon. Sir William Stewart, son of John Stewart, 7th Earl of Galloway and Anne Dashwood, on 21 April 1804.¹ She died on 6 August 1833.¹
     From 21 April 1804, her married name became Stewart.

     Horatio Stewart was born on 3 August 1806.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Gen. Hon. Sir William Stewart and Frances Douglas.² He married Sophia Stewart, daughter of Hon. Montgomery Granville John Stewart and Catherine Honyman, on 29 November 1833.¹ He died on 20 September 1835 at age 29.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Rifle Brigade.¹

     Sophia Stewart was the daughter of Hon. Montgomery Granville John Stewart and Catherine Honyman.^2,1 She married Horatio Stewart, son of Lt.-Gen. Hon. Sir William Stewart and Frances Douglas, on 29 November 1833.¹ She died on 9 July 1888.¹

     Horatio Granville Murray-Stewart of Broughton was born on 25 September 1834.¹ He was the son of Horatio Stewart and Sophia Stewart.² He married Anne Eliza Wingfield Digby, daughter of Reverend John Digby Wingfield Digby and Anne Eliza Smith, on 9 September 1858.¹ He died on 6 April 1904 at age 69, without issue.¹
     He was given the name of Horatio Granville Stewart at birth.¹ On 7 May 1846 his name was legally changed to Horatio Granville Murray-Stewart of Broughton by Royal Licence.¹ He twice contested Kirkcudbright.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of County Donegal in 1858.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)¹ He lived at Cally and Rusko, Kirkcudbrightshire, Scotland^G.¹ He lived at Killybegs, County Donegal, Ireland^G.¹

     Anne Eliza Wingfield Digby was the daughter of Reverend John Digby Wingfield Digby and Anne Eliza Smith.^1,2 She married Horatio Granville Murray-Stewart of Broughton, son of Horatio Stewart and Sophia Stewart, on 9 September 1858.¹ She died on 21 April 1919.¹
     From 9 September 1858, her married name became Murray-Stewart.¹

     Louisa Stewart is the daughter of Lt.-Gen. Hon. Sir William Stewart and Frances Douglas.² She married David Baillie on 29 October 1829.¹
     From 29 October 1829, her married name became Baillie.¹

     David Baillie married Louisa Stewart, daughter of Lt.-Gen. Hon. Sir William Stewart and Frances Douglas, on 29 October 1829.¹

     Rt. Rev. Hon. Charles James Stewart was born on 15 April 1775.¹ He was the son of John Stewart, 7th Earl of Galloway and Anne Dashwood.² He died on 13 July 1837 at age 62, unmarried.¹
     He graduated with a Doctor of Divinity (D.D.)¹ He held the office of Bishop of Quebec.¹

     Hon. Montgomery Granville John Stewart was born on 15 April 1780.¹ He was the son of John Stewart, 7th Earl of Galloway and Anne Dashwood.² He married Catherine Honyman, daughter of Patrick Honyman, on 22 October 1801.¹ He died on 10 January 1860 at age 79.¹
     He lived at Castramont, Dumfries-shire, Scotland^G.¹

     Catherine Honyman was the daughter of Patrick Honyman.¹ She married Hon. Montgomery Granville John Stewart, son of John Stewart, 7th Earl of Galloway and Anne Dashwood, on 22 October 1801.¹ She died on 16 January 1833.¹
     From 22 October 1801, her married name became Stewart.
