     Beatrice Louisa Frances Noel was born in 1915.¹ She is the daughter of Gambier Baptist Edward Noel and Beatrice Eva Tytler Byng.² She married Captain William Falcon Skelton, son of Engineer Vice-Admiral Sir Reginald Skelton, on 14 May 1943.¹
