Sir James Hamlyn-Williams, 3rd Bt.1 
He was also known as 3rd Baronet Hamlyn, of Edwinsford and Clovelly.3 He fought in the Peninsular Wars, with the 7th Hussars.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Carmarthenshire between 1831 and 1832.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Carmarthenshire between 1835 and 1837.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Carmarthenshire in 1848.1 His last will was dated 21 December 1858.1 On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.1
