     Sir James Reade, 2nd Bt. was born on 5 March 1655.¹ He was the son of Sir John Reade, 1st Bt. and Susanna Style.¹ He was baptised on 10 March 1654/55.² He married Love Dring, daughter of Robert Dring and Dorothy (?), on 26 January 1689/90 at Mercer’s Chapel, Cornhill, London, England^G.² He died on 16 October 1701 at age 46, from a fever.¹
     He was educated at Trinity College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.² He held the office of High Sheriff of Hertfordshire from 1693 to 1694.² He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Reade, of Brockett Hall, co. Herts [E., 1642] circa February 1693/94.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of Oxfordshire from 1700 to 1701.²

     Edith Elizabeth Hawkshaw was the daughter of Colonel unknown Hawkshaw.² She married Reverend Samuel Vere Dashwood, son of Samuel Francis Dashwood and Lydia Broughton Lister, on 25 January 1844.¹ She died on 22 July 1911.¹
     Her married name became Dashwood.

     Colonel unknown Hawkshaw lived at Clifton, Bristol, England^G.

     Edward Gorden Linzee married Emily Laura Dashwood, daughter of Reverend Samuel Vere Dashwood and Edith Elizabeth Hawkshaw, in 1890.¹
     He lived at Brambridge Lodge, Bishopstoke, Hampshire, England^G.¹

     Caroline Hammond was the daughter of Philip Hamond.² She married Reverend Samuel Vere Dashwood, son of Samuel Francis Dashwood and Lydia Broughton Lister, on 24 October 1828.¹ She died on 28 May 1840.¹
     Her married name became Dashwood.

     Philip Hamond was the son of Anthony Hamond.¹ He died in July 1824.¹
     He lived at Westacre, Norfolk, England^G.² He was also known as Philip Hammond.²

     Samuel Francis Dashwood was born in 1773.² He was the son of Charles Vere Dashwood and Diana Dashwood.³ He married Lydia Broughton Lister, daughter of Matthew Dymoke Lister.²
     He lived at Stanford, Nottinghamshire, England^G.²

     Lydia Broughton Lister is the daughter of Matthew Dymoke Lister.¹ She married, secondly, Samuel Francis Dashwood, son of Charles Vere Dashwood and Diana Dashwood.² She married, firstly, Thomas Tipping.²
     Her married name became Tipping.² Her married name became Dashwood.

     Matthew Dymoke Lister lived at Burwell Park, Lincolnshire, England^G.¹

     Robert Dashwood was the son of Richard Dashwood and Elizabeth Lewes.² He married Anne Lewes, daughter of Francis Lewes.¹ He died on 15 October 1757.¹
