     He lived at Upper Cary, Devon, England^G.¹ He held the office of Lord Chief Baron of the Exchequer in 1386.¹ On 20 August 1387 at Shrewsbury, Shropshire, England^G, he was one of the judges summoned by King Richard II.¹ In 1388 he was impeached and banished to Waterford.¹
