     He held the office of Paymaster-General of the Civil Service.¹

     Anne Julia Page was the daughter of Samuel Page.¹ She married Edward Vesey, son of Reverend Hon. Arthur Vesey and Sydney Johnstone, on 16 January 1854.¹ She died on 2 January 1900.¹
     From 16 January 1854, her married name became Vesey.¹

     Samuel Page lived at Hadley, London, England^G.¹

     Arthur Henry Vesey was born on 13 January 1859.¹ He was the son of Edward Vesey and Anne Julia Page.¹ He died on 6 January 1899 at age 39, unmarried.¹
     He was registered as a Assocaite Member, Institution of Civil Engineers (A.M.I.C.E.)¹

     Edward Darby Vesey was born on 14 April 1862.¹ He was the son of Edward Vesey and Anne Julia Page.¹ He died, unmarried.¹
     He was a practising barrister.¹

     Captain Herbert Charles Vesey was born on 17 January 1864.¹ He was the son of Edward Vesey and Anne Julia Page.¹ He died on 17 April 1903 at age 39 at Somaliland^G, killed in action.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Indian Army.¹ He fought in the Somaliland Campaign.¹

     William Vesey was born on 1 May 1868.¹ He was the son of Edward Vesey and Anne Julia Page.¹ He died on 2 April 1928 at age 59.¹

     Geraldine Louisa Vesey was the daughter of Edward Vesey and Anne Julia Page.¹ She married Frederick Beard on 4 April 1888.¹ She died on 11 January 1945.¹
     From 4 April 1888, her married name became Beard.¹
