     Sir Baynham Throckmorton, 2nd Bt. was born circa 1606.¹ He was the son of Sir William Throckmorton, 1st Bt. and Cicely Baynham.¹ He married Margaret Hopton, daughter of Robert Hopton and Jane Kemeys, circa 1626.¹ He died on 28 May 1664.¹ He was buried on 29 July 1664 at St. Margaret’s Church, Westminster, London, England^G.¹
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Throckmorton, of Tortworth, co. Gloucester [E., 1611] on 18 July 1628.¹

     Margaret Hopton is the daughter of Robert Hopton and Jane Kemeys.¹ She married Sir Baynham Throckmorton, 2nd Bt., son of Sir William Throckmorton, 1st Bt. and Cicely Baynham, circa 1626.¹
     From circa 1626, her married name became Throckmorton.¹

     Sir Baynham Throckmorton, 3rd Bt. was born circa 1628.² He was the son of Sir Baynham Throckmorton, 2nd Bt. and Margaret Hopton.² He married, firstly, Mary Garton, daughter of Giles Garton, before 1661.¹ He married, secondly, Katharine Edgcumbe, daughter of Colonel Piers Edgcumbe and Mary Glanville, on 11 December 1669 at St. Dunstan’s-in-the-West Church, London, England^G.¹ He died from July 1680 to February 1681/82.² His will was proven (by probate) on 3 February 1681/82.¹
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Gloucestershire between 1656 and 1658.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Wootton Bassett in 1660.¹ He was appointed Knight on 28 May 1660 at Rochester, Kent, England^G.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Throckmorton, of Tortworth, co. Gloucester [E., 1611] on 28 May 1664.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Gloucestershire between December 1664 and 1669.¹ His last will was dated 16 July 1680.¹

     Mary Garton was born circa 1633.¹ She was the daughter of Giles Garton.¹ She married Sir Baynham Throckmorton, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Baynham Throckmorton, 2nd Bt. and Margaret Hopton, before 1661.¹ She died on 2 April 1666, without male issue.¹ She was buried on 4 April 1666 at Newland, Gloucestershire, England^G.¹
     From before 1661, her married name became Throckmorton.¹

     Giles Garton lived at Billingshurst, Sussex, England^G.¹

     Katharine Edgcumbe was born circa 1650.¹ She was the daughter of Colonel Piers Edgcumbe and Mary Glanville.¹ She married Sir Baynham Throckmorton, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Baynham Throckmorton, 2nd Bt. and Margaret Hopton, on 11 December 1669 at St. Dunstan’s-in-the-West Church, London, England^G.¹ She died before 1685.¹ Her will was proven (by probate) in 1685.¹
     From 11 December 1669, her married name became Throckmorton.¹

     Sir Nicholas Throckmorton was born after 1606.¹ He was the son of Sir William Throckmorton, 1st Bt. and Cicely Baynham.¹ He died in June 1664.¹

     Sir William Throckmorton, 4th Bt. was born in 1658.¹ He was the son of Sir Nicholas Throckmorton.¹ He died circa June 1682, killed in a duel, unmarried.¹ He was buried on 1 July 1682 at St. Margaret’s Church, Westminster, London, England^G.¹ He died intestate and his estate was administered to his three sisters on 7 June 1686.¹
