     Lady Elizabeth Hermione Shirley was the daughter of Robert Walter Shirley, 12th Earl Ferrers and Hermione Justice Morley.2 She married John Fownes-Luttrell, son of Major Hugh Courtenay Fownes-Luttrell and Dorothy Hope Wedderburn, on 24 October 1959.1 She died on 7 October 1997.1
     She was with the Women’s Royal Naval Service between 1942 and 1945.1 From 24 October 1959, her married name became Fownes-Luttrell.

     He gained the rank of Honorary Captain in the Intelligence Corps.1
