     He was educated at St. Columba’s College, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G.¹ He lived at Emell Castle, Cloughjordan, County Offaly, Ireland^G.¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G, in 1949 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He lived in 1976 at Tivoli Lodge, Tivoli Road, Dun Laoghaire, County Dublin, Ireland^G.¹

     Colonel Gerald Johnstone Lipyeatt Stoney was born on 17 June 1884.¹ He was the son of Johnstone Thomas Stoney and Arabella Louisa Lipyeatt.¹ He died on 6 April 1941 at age 56, unmarried.¹
     He was educated at St. Columba’s College, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1915.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1918.¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in the 2nd Battalion, Worcestershire Regiment.¹

     Edward Bowes Stoney was born on 30 March 1886.¹ He was the son of Johnstone Thomas Stoney and Arabella Louisa Lipyeatt.¹ He married Elizabeth Patterson-Hunter in 1910.¹ He died on 7 November 1965 at age 79.¹
     He fought in the First World War, with the Royal Army Medical Corps.¹ He lived at Victoria, British Columbia, Canada^G.¹

     Elizabeth Patterson-Hunter married Edward Bowes Stoney, son of Johnstone Thomas Stoney and Arabella Louisa Lipyeatt, in 1910.¹ She died in 1953.¹
     From 1910, her married name became Stoney.¹

     F/Lt. George Edward Stoney was born on 24 March 1911.¹ He was the son of Edward Bowes Stoney and Elizabeth Patterson-Hunter.¹ He married Aileen Hilary Beresford-Knox, daughter of Hercules John Beresford-Knox, on 1 April 1939.¹ He died on 18 August 1940 at age 29, killed while on active service, without issue.¹
     He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Flight Lieutenant in the Royal Air Force.¹

     Aileen Hilary Beresford-Knox was the daughter of Hercules John Beresford-Knox.¹ She married, firstly, F/Lt. George Edward Stoney, son of Edward Bowes Stoney and Elizabeth Patterson-Hunter, on 1 April 1939.¹ She married, secondly, Charles Armstrong Webster, son of David Fairley Webster, on 21 June 1944.¹ She died in 1964.¹
     From 1 April 1939, her married name became Stoney.¹ From 21 June 1944, her married name became Webster.¹

     Hercules John Beresford-Knox graduated with a Bachelor of Obstretic Arts (B.A.O.)¹ He lived at Balliol, West Derby, Liverpool, Lancashire, England^G.¹ He graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)¹ He graduated with a Bachelor of Surgery (B.Ch.)¹

     Charles Armstrong Webster is the son of David Fairley Webster.¹ He married Aileen Hilary Beresford-Knox, daughter of Hercules John Beresford-Knox, on 21 June 1944.¹
     He lived in 1976 at Hill House, Four Mile Bridge Valley, Anglesey, Wales^G.¹

     David Fairley Webster lived at The Great Grove, County Wexford, Ireland^G.¹

     Gerald Johnstone Percy Lipyeatt Stoney was born on 11 November 1914.¹ He was the son of Edward Bowes Stoney and Elizabeth Patterson-Hunter.¹ He married Ruth Mackintosh, daughter of G. W. Mackintosh, in 1942.¹ He died on 19 October 1962 at age 47.¹
     He was educated at Bishop Foy School, Waterford, County Waterford, Ireland^G.¹ He fought in the Second World War, with the Royal Canadian Air Force.¹ He was with the Civil Service at British Columbia, Canada^G.¹
