     Bessie Blood was the daughter of William Blood and Frances Perrin.¹ She married Colonel Walter Vernon, son of John Vernon, on 27 April 1872 in a childless marriage.¹ She died on 19 April 1873, aged 30.¹
     From 27 April 1872, her married name became Vernon.¹

     Colonel Walter Vernon was the son of John Vernon.¹ He married Bessie Blood, daughter of William Blood and Frances Perrin, on 27 April 1872 in a childless marriage.¹
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the Volunteers.¹

     John Vernon was an iron shipbuilder.¹ He lived at Litherland, Lancashire, England^G.¹

     Helen Aitkin married William Blood, son of Lieutenant George Blood and Elizabeth Deborah Blood, in a childless marriage.¹ She died on 8 September 1887, aged 45.¹
     Her married name became Blood.¹

     Edward Blood was born in 1811.¹ He was the son of Lieutenant George Blood and Elizabeth Deborah Blood.¹ He died on 23 March 1831, without issue.¹
     He was educated at Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G.¹

     John Lloyd Blood was born on 7 August 1814.¹ He was the son of Lieutenant George Blood and Elizabeth Deborah Blood.¹ He married, firstly, Margaret Wolfe, daughter of John Wolfe, on 6 September 1842.¹ He married, secondly, Margaret Findlater, daughter of William Findlater and Sophia Huffington, on 23 June 1852.² He died on 24 June 1894 at age 79.²
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He held the office of Commissioner, Irish Lights.¹ He was the President, Dublin Chamber of Commerce.¹ He lived at Mountjoy Square, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G,¹ and at Monkstown, County Dublin, Ireland^G.¹

     Margaret Wolfe was the daughter of John Wolfe.¹ She married John Lloyd Blood, son of Lieutenant George Blood and Elizabeth Deborah Blood, on 6 September 1842.¹ She died on 31 March 1851.¹
     From 6 September 1842, her married name became Blood.¹

     John Wolfe lived at 35 Fitzwilliam Street, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G.¹

     Edward Neptune Blood was born on 26 September 1843.¹ He was the son of John Lloyd Blood and Margaret Wolfe.¹ He married Jane Constance Walker, daughter of John Walker, in 1868.¹ He died on 16 February 1914 at age 70.¹
     He was a practising Solicitor.¹ He lived at Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G.¹
