     Thomas Alexander Riddell-Carre was born on 26 September 1831.² He is the son of Walter Riddell-Carre of Cavers Carre and Elizabeth Riddell McLachlan.³ He married Elizabeth Fellows, daughter of Alfred Thomas Fellows, on 5 August 1865.² He died on 21 March 1905 at age 73.²
     He was also known as Thomas Alexander Riddell.² He was in the Honourable East India Company Service.² He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 3rd Battalion, Royal Scots Fusiliers.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)² He lived at Cavers Carre, Roxburghshire, Scotland.²

     Emma Sophia Christina Durrant was the daughter of Christopher Mercer Durrant.¹ She married Lt.-Col. Francis Sadleir Stoney, son of Reverend Ralph Stoney and Abigail Sadleir, on 11 June 1872.¹ She died on 19 February 1930.¹
     From 11 June 1872, her married name became Stoney.¹

     Christopher Mercer Durrant was appointed Fellow, Royal College of Physicians, London (F.R.C.P.)¹ He graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹

     Colonel Ralph Durrant Sadleir Stoney was born on 8 April 1873.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. Francis Sadleir Stoney and Emma Sophia Christina Durrant.¹ He married Emily Maud Moore Morgan, daughter of Reverend William Moore Morgan, on 26 July 1900.¹ He died on 9 April 1955 at age 82.¹
     He was educated at Cheltenham College, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England^G.¹ He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1902.¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1919.¹ He retired from the military in 1923, with the rank of Colonel, late of the Royal Irish Fusiliers.¹ He lived at Dunseaverick, Yateley, Hampshire, England^G.¹

     Emily Maud Moore Morgan was the daughter of Reverend William Moore Morgan.¹ She married Colonel Ralph Durrant Sadleir Stoney, son of Lt.-Col. Francis Sadleir Stoney and Emma Sophia Christina Durrant, on 26 July 1900.¹ She died on 7 February 1962.¹
     From 26 July 1900, her married name became Stoney.¹

     Reverend William Moore Morgan held the office of Canon of Armagh Cathedral.¹ He graduated with a Doctor of Law (LL.D.)¹

     Brigadier Ralph Francis Ewart Stoney was born on 28 June 1903.¹ He was the son of Colonel Ralph Durrant Sadleir Stoney and Emily Maud Moore Morgan.¹ He married Kathleen Nina Fardon Kirkland, daughter of Professor Arthur Kirkland, on 29 September 1939.¹ He died on 19 January 2003 at age 99.²
     He was educated at Royal Naval College, Osborne, Isle of Wight, England^G.¹ He was educated at Royal Naval College, Dartmouth, Devon, England^G.¹ He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Woolwich, Kent, England^G.¹ He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches twice.¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1943.¹ He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1952.¹ He retired from the military in 1954, with the rank of Brigadier, late of the Royal Engineers.¹ He was Director-General of the Royal Soicety for the Prevention of Accidents between 1959 and 1968.¹ He lived in 1976 at Chota Gur, Crakell Road, Reigate, Surrey, England^G.¹

     Kathleen Nina Fardon Kirkland was the daughter of Professor Arthur Kirkland.¹ She married Brigadier Ralph Francis Ewart Stoney, son of Colonel Ralph Durrant Sadleir Stoney and Emily Maud Moore Morgan, on 29 September 1939.¹ She died on 28 March 1973.¹
     From 29 September 1939, her married name became Stoney.¹

     Professor Arthur Kirkland lived at London, England^G.¹

     Heather Elizabeth Stoney was born on 18 November 1940.¹ She is the daughter of Brigadier Ralph Francis Ewart Stoney and Kathleen Nina Fardon Kirkland.¹
