     Thomas Ramsay Stoney was born on 9 July 1882.¹ He was the son of Major George Ormond Stoney and Meylia Laing.¹ He married Dorothy Agnes Sheepshanks, daughter of Reverend Thomas Sheepshanks, on 18 April 1917.¹ He died on 10 April 1918 at age 35 at France^G, killed in action, without issue.¹
     He was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the King’s Own Scottish Borderers.¹

     Dorothy Agnes Sheepshanks was the daughter of Reverend Thomas Sheepshanks.¹ She married Thomas Ramsay Stoney, son of Major George Ormond Stoney and Meylia Laing, on 18 April 1917.¹ She died on 1 January 1960.¹
     From 18 April 1917, her married name became Stoney.¹

     Major Bowes Bindon Stoney was born on 30 June 1918.¹ He was the son of Colonel Henry Howard Stoney and Laura Kathleen Stoney.¹ He married Joy Angela Berry, daughter of Francis Robert Wade Berry, on 27 March 1943.¹ He died at Royal Military Academy, Woolwich, Kent, England^G.¹ He died in June 2000 at Richmond upon Thames, Surrey, England.²
