     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)³ He was given the name of Thomas Harwood at birth.¹ He lived at Shenstone Park, Staffordshire, England^G.¹ He lived at Tern, Shropshire, England^G.¹

     Susanna Maria Noel was the daughter of William Noel.¹ She married Thomas Hill, son of Thomas Harwood and Margaret Hill.¹ She died on 14 February 1760.¹
     Her married name became Hill.¹

     William Noel was the son of Sir John Noel, 4th Bt.¹ He married Elizabeth Trollope, daughter of Sir Thomas Trollope, 3rd Bt. and Susannah Clobery.²
     He held the office of Judge of the Court of Common Pleas.²

     Thomas Noel Hill, 2nd Baron Berwick of Attingham was born on 21 October 1770.¹ He was the son of Noel Hill, 1st Baron Berwick of Attingham and Anna Vernon.¹ He was baptised at Atcham, Shropshire, England^G.¹ He married Sophia Dubochet, daughter of John James Dubochet, on 8 February 1812 at St. Marylebone Church, Marylebone Road, Marylebone, London, England^G.¹ He died on 3 November 1832 at age 62 at Naples, Italy^G, without issue.¹ He was buried at Naples, Italy^G.¹ His will was proven (by probate) in August 1833.¹
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Berwick of Attingham, co. Shropshire [G.B., 1784] on 6 January 1789.¹ He was educated at Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G.¹ He was appointed Fellow, Society of Antiquaries (F.S.A.) on 4 June 1801.¹

     William Noel-Hill, 3rd Baron Berwick of Attingham was born on 21 October 1772.¹ He was the son of Noel Hill, 1st Baron Berwick of Attingham and Anna Vernon.¹ He was baptised at Atcham, Shropshire, England^G.¹ He died on 4 August 1842 at age 69 at Redrice, Andover, Hampshire, England^G, unmarried, without legitimate issue.³ He was buried on 15 August 1842 at Atcham, Shropshire, England^G.³ He died intestate and his estate was administered in June 1843.³
     He was given the name of William Hill at birth.¹ He was educated in January 1783 at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, England^G.¹ He graduated from Jesus College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in 1793 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Tory) for Shrewsbury between 1796 and 1812.¹ He held the office of Envoy to Ratisbon between 1805 and 1807.¹ He held the office of Envoy to Turin between 1807 and 1824.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Tory) for Marlborough between 1814 and 1818.¹ He held the office of Envoy to Naples between 1824 and 1830.¹ On 19 March 1824 his name was legally changed to William Noel-Hill by Royal Licence.³ He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) on 7 April 1824.³ He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Berwick of Attingham, co. Shropshire [G.B., 1784] on 3 November 1832.¹

     Richard Noel-Hill, 4th Baron Berwick of Attingham was born on 7 November 1774 at St. Martin-in-the-Fields, Covent Garden, London, England^G.¹ He was the son of Noel Hill, 1st Baron Berwick of Attingham and Anna Vernon.¹ He was baptised on 11 November 1774 at St. Martin-in-the-Fields, Covent Garden, London, England^G.¹ He married Frances Maria Mostyn-Owen, daughter of William Mostyn-Owen and Rebecca Dod, on 16 January 1800 at St. Chad’s, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, England^G.¹ He died on 28 September 1848 at age 73 at Atcham, Shropshire, England^G.¹ He was buried on 6 October 1848 at Atcham, Shropshire, England^G.¹

     Sophia Dubochet was born circa 1794.¹ She was the daughter of John James Dubochet.¹ She married Thomas Noel Hill, 2nd Baron Berwick of Attingham, son of Noel Hill, 1st Baron Berwick of Attingham and Anna Vernon, on 8 February 1812 at St. Marylebone Church, Marylebone Road, Marylebone, London, England^G.¹ She died on 29 August 1875 at Leamington, Warwickshire, England^G.¹
     From 8 February 1812, her married name became Hill. After her marriage, Sophia Dubochet was styled as Baroness Berwick of Attingham on 8 February 1812.

     John James Dubochet was a Swiss clockmaker at Mayfair, London, England^G.²

     Frances Maria Mostyn-Owen was the daughter of William Mostyn-Owen and Rebecca Dod.¹ She married Richard Noel-Hill, 4th Baron Berwick of Attingham, son of Noel Hill, 1st Baron Berwick of Attingham and Anna Vernon, on 16 January 1800 at St. Chad’s, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, England^G.¹ She died on 4 January 1840.¹ She was buried at Atcham, Shropshire, England^G.¹
     Her married name became Noel-Hill.

     Humphrey Brooke Firman is the son of Humphrey Brooke Firman. He married Horence Adealide Cumming, daughter of Admiral Sir Arthur Cumming.²
