     Sir Thomas Trevor was born on 6 July 1586 at Trevalyn, Denbighshire, Wales.2 He was the son of John Trevor and Mary Bruges.2 He married, firstly, Prudence Boteler, daughter of Henry Boteler.2 He married, secondly, Frances Blennerhassett, daughter of Daniel Blennerhassett and Ellen Hobart, in a childless marriage.1 He died on 21 December 1656 at age 70.1
     He was admitted to barrister-at-law in 1603.2 He was appointed Knight on 19 June 1619.2 He held the office of Chief Baron of the Exchequer between 1625 and 1649.1 He was solicitor to the Prince of Wales, later King Charles I.2
