     Agnes Nivison Cotts was born on 12 April 1902.¹ She is the daughter of Sir William Dingwall Mitchell Cotts, 1st Bt. and Agnes Nivison Sloane.² She married, firstly, Brigadier Claude Frederick Walker, son of Lt.-Col. Edmond Somerville Forestier Walker and Ellen Mary Camilla Fenton, on 1 December 1926.¹ She and Brigadier Claude Frederick Walker were divorced in 1930.¹ She married, secondly, S/Ldr. Claude Alastair Blyth Rome, son of Brig.-Gen. Claude Stuart Rome and Hon. Grace Loudenne Blyth, on 2 January 1941.¹ She and S/Ldr. Claude Alastair Blyth Rome were divorced in 1952.¹
     From 1 December 1926, her married name became Walker.¹ From 2 January 1941, her married name became Rome.¹

     Brigadier Claude Frederick Walker was born on 1 October 1896.² He was the son of Lt.-Col. Edmond Somerville Forestier Walker and Ellen Mary Camilla Fenton.² He married, firstly, Agnes Nivison Cotts, daughter of Sir William Dingwall Mitchell Cotts, 1st Bt. and Agnes Nivison Sloane, on 1 December 1926.¹ He and Agnes Nivison Cotts were divorced in 1930.¹ He married, secondly, Simone Le Gallais, daughter of Lt.-Col. Mark Le Gallais, on 25 March 1933.² He died in 1980.³
     He was educated at Bedford School, Bedford, Bedfordshire, England^G.² He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in dispatches twice.² He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1916 and bar (1917.)² He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in dispatches twice.² He gained the rank of Brigadier in the 11th Hussars, Royal Artillery.² He gained the rank of Brigadier in the 3rd Hussars.¹ He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1945.² He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)¹

     Jane Fairlie is the daughter of Robert Fairlie.¹ She married James Crichton, son of John Crichton and Margaret Adamson, circa 20 May 1565.¹
     From circa 20 May 1565, her married name became Crichton.¹

     Robert Fairlie was Laird of Braid.¹

     Nichola (?) married Abraham Crichton, son of John Crichton and Margaret Adamson.¹
     Her married name became Crichton.¹
