     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 7th Gurkha Rifles.¹

     Susan Ruth Dixon is the daughter of Robert Thomas Dixon.¹ She married Humphry Carlton Leo Brierley, son of Lt.-Col. Richard Brierley and Vivienne Rosalie Bland, on 15 August 1964.¹

Edward David Stewart Ogilvie and Theodosia Isabella Burgh, on 5 September 1903.¹ He died on 9 February 1950 at age 81.¹

     Ellen Kathleen Ogilvie was the daughter of Hon. Edward David Stewart Ogilvie and Theodosia Isabella Burgh.¹ She married Brig.-Gen. William St. Colum Bland, son of Maj.-Gen. Edward Loftus Bland and Emma Frances Franks, on 5 September 1903.¹ She died on 22 June 1954.¹
     From 5 September 1903, her married name became Bland.¹
