     Colonel Herbert Norwood Blakeney was born on 26 April 1871.¹ He was the son of Colonel Henry Blakeney and Louisa Jane Hutchinson.¹ He died on 20 December 1946 at age 75, unmarried.¹
     He was commissioned in 1890, in the service of the Army.¹ He fought in the Boer War, for which he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He was appointed Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1900.¹ He fought in the First World War, during which he was wounded. He was mentioned in despatches.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1918.¹ He retired from the military in 1920, with the rank of Colonel.¹

     Glyn Maxwell is the son of Dr. James Maxwell.¹ He married Hon. Geraldine Theodora Gabriel Harmsworth, daughter of Vere Harold Esmond Harmsworth, 3rd Viscount Rothermere and Patricia Evelyn Beverly Matthews, on 28 June 1997.¹
     He was an author and poet.¹

     Sarah Blakeney was the daughter of John Henry Blakeney and Charlotte Mahon.¹ She died on 30 October 1905, unmarried.¹

     Mary Gertrude Blakeney was the daughter of John Henry Blakeney and Charlotte Mahon.¹ She died on 4 July 1893, unmarried.¹

     Louisa Elizabeth Blakeney was the daughter of John Henry Blakeney and Charlotte Mahon.¹ She died on 20 March 1894, unmarried.¹

     Harriette Anne Blakeney was the daughter of John Henry Blakeney and Charlotte Mahon.¹ She married William Henry Crossmaker.¹ She died on 6 March 1903, aged 88.¹
     Her married name became Crossmaker.¹
