     Robert ffrench was born on 1 January 1776.² He was the son of Acheson ffrench and Mary Millar.² He married Nicola Maria O’Brien, daughter of Rt. Hon. Sir Lucius O’Brien, 3rd Bt. and Anne ffrench, on 1 January 1799.² He died in January 1851.²
     He was educated at Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.² He gained the rank of officer in the The Life Guards.² He held the office of High Sheriff of County Galway.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Galway.¹ He lived at Monivea Castle, Monivea Demesne, County Galway, Ireland^G.¹

     Lt.-Col. John William Smith O’Brien Blake was born circa 1845.² He was the son of Henry Blake and Adelaide ffrench.¹ He married Amelia Christian A. Gilder, daughter of Sherrington Gilder and Maria Louisa Hunter, in 1892 at Marylebone, London, England.^1,2 He died on 25 January 1907.¹
     He was Commanding Officer of the 1st Battalion 10th (Lincolnshire) Regiment (as a Lieutenant-Colonel).¹

     Amelia Christian A. Gilder was born in 1856 at Marylebone, London, England.² She was the daughter of Sherrington Gilder and Maria Louisa Hunter.^1,2 She married, firstly, Arthur Frisby.¹ She married, secondly, Lt.-Col. John William Smith O’Brien Blake, son of Henry Blake and Adelaide ffrench, in 1892 at Marylebone, London, England.^1,2
     Her married name became Frisby.¹ From 1892, her married name became Blake.¹

     Arthur Frisby married Amelia Christian A. Gilder, daughter of Sherrington Gilder and Maria Louisa Hunter.¹ He died before 1892.²

     Sherrington Gilder was born on 6 August 1797 at Margate, Kent, England.² He was the son of James Gilder.² He married, firstly, Sarah Tredcroft, daughter of Nathaniel Tredcroft and Sarah Steele, on 7 May 1821 at Marylebone, London, England.² He married, secondly, Maria Louisa Hunter in 1852 at Bristol, England.² He died on 9 January 1874 at age 76 at Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.²
     He was a surgeon.² He was registered as a Licentiate, Society of Apothecaries (L.S.A.)²
