     Lt.-Col. John Blake was the son of Andrew Blake and Honoria Burke.² He married, firstly, Mary Aylward, daughter of Nugent Sylvester Aylward, in March 1789.¹ He married, secondly, Maria Galway, daughter of Edmond Galway, in 1797.² He died on 18 October 1836.²
     He held the office of Mayor of Galway in 1830.² He lived at Furbough, Barna, County Galway, Ireland^G.¹

     Martin Stephen Blake was the son of Edmond Blake and Mary Aylward.¹ He died in 1788.¹
