     He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)² He emigrated to Melbourne, Victoria, Australia^G, arriving on October 1852.² He was Clerk of the Central Roads Board [Victoria] on 4 April 1853.² He was Secretary for the Department of Roads and Bridges [Victoria] in 1860.² He was Chief Clerk of of the Victorian Railways between 1872 and 1876.² He was Secretary of of the Victorian Railways between 1876 and 1892.² He lived at Melbourne, Victoria, Australia^G.¹ He lived in 1892 at Kensington, London, England^G.²

     Ethel Adelaide Labertouche was born in 1862 at Melbourne, Victoria, Australia^G.² She was the daughter of Peter Paul Labertouche.³ She married Augustus Pelham Brooke Loftus, son of Rt. Hon. Lord Augustus William Frederick Spencer Loftus and Emma Maria Greville, in 1887.¹ She died in 1939.¹
     From 1887, her married name became Loftus.

     Guy Alvo Greville Loftus was born on 26 August 1899.¹ He was the son of Augustus Pelham Brooke Loftus and Ethel Adelaide Labertouche.² He married Renee Clementine Eleanor Favin on 7 July 1930.¹ He died on 7 August 1965 at age 65, without issue.¹
     He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the Grenadier Guards.¹ On 3 January 1919 he was court martialled and dismissed from the service for issuing dud cheques.³

     Renee Clementine Eleanor Favin married Guy Alvo Greville Loftus, son of Augustus Pelham Brooke Loftus and Ethel Adelaide Labertouche, on 7 July 1930.¹
     From 7 July 1930, her married name became Loftus.

     Montagu Egerton Loftus was born on 22 January 1860.¹ He was the son of Rt. Hon. Lord Augustus William Frederick Spencer Loftus and Emma Maria Greville.² He married, firstly, Margaret Julia Agnes Fairfax Astell, daughter of John Harvey Astell, on 2 September 1897.¹ He married, secondly, Colina Marion Monro, daughter of Charles Hames Hale Monro, on 19 October 1904.¹ He died on 27 November 1934 at age 74.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He was with the Consular Service.¹ He was appointed Member, Royal Victorian Order (M.V.O.) in 1908 4th Class.¹

     John Harvey Astell held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)² He lived at Woodbury Hall, Bedfordshire, England^G.¹

     Margaret Julia Agnes Fairfax Astell was the daughter of John Harvey Astell.² She married Montagu Egerton Loftus, son of Rt. Hon. Lord Augustus William Frederick Spencer Loftus and Emma Maria Greville, on 2 September 1897.¹ She died on 3 June 1900, without issue.¹
     From 2 September 1897, her married name became Loftus.

     Evelyn Ann Frances Loftus was the daughter of Rt. Hon. Lord Augustus William Frederick Spencer Loftus and Emma Maria Greville.² She died on 28 September 1861, unmarried.¹

     Sarah Pountney was baptised in 1769.¹ She was the daughter of John Pountney.¹ She married Samuel Rawlins, son of Thomas Rawlins and Sarah Smallman.¹ She died on 27 August 1848.¹
     Her married name became Rawlins.¹

     John Pountney lived at Stottesdon, Shropshire, England^G.¹
