     James Ussher was the son of Beverley Ussher and Grace Osborne.2 He married, secondly, Mary Congreve, daughter of Reverend John Congreve and Rebecca Jones.3 He married, firstly, Jane Donellan, daughter of Edmond Donellan, on 5 July 1701.2 He died in 1729.2
     He lived at Ballintaylor, County Waterford, IrelandG.1 He was a practising Attorney-at-Law.2 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Waterford in 1725.4
