     Maria Severis is the daughter of Demosthenes Severis.¹ She married Sir Henry William Butler Blackall, son of Henry Blackall and Isabella Emily Butler, on 21 April 1934.¹
     From 21 April 1934, her married name became Blackall.¹

     Demosthenes Severis was Chairman of the Bank of Cyprus.¹ He held the office of Member of the Legislative Council (M.L.C.) [Cyprus]¹

     Richard Blackall was also known as Richard Blackhall.¹ He lived at Exeter, Devon, England^G.¹ He settled at Black Island, County Limerick, Ireland^G, temp Charles I.¹ In 1641 Richard Blackall was expelled from Black Island, County Limerick, Ireland^G, and robbed by rebels.¹ He was among those besieged in 1642 at Kilfinny Castle, County Limerick, Ireland^G.¹
