     Mary Elizabeth Alley was the daughter of Tottenham Alley.¹ She married James Butler, son of Reverend James Butler and Isabella Rothwell, on 7 June 1864.¹ She died in 1906.¹
     From 7 June 1864, her married name became Butler.

     James Tottenham Butler was born on 4 June 1868.¹ He was the son of James Butler and Mary Elizabeth Alley.¹ He married Geraldine Blanche Maude Osborne, daughter of Henry St. George Osborne and Louisa Mary Catherine Smith, in 1906.¹ He died on 17 May 1928 at age 59, without issue.^1,2
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 5th Battalion, Leinster Regiment.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He lived at Priestown, Ireland^G.¹

     Henry St. George Osborne was born circa 1839.² He married Louisa Mary Catherine Smith, daughter of Ralph Smith and Louisa Lyons-Montgomery, in 1869.² He died in 1899 at County Meath, Ireland.²
     He lived at Dardesdown Castle, County Meath, Ireland^G.¹

     Geraldine Blanche Maude Osborne was born circa 1873.² She was the daughter of Henry St. George Osborne and Louisa Mary Catherine Smith.² She married James Tottenham Butler, son of James Butler and Mary Elizabeth Alley, in 1906.¹ She died on 8 January 1966 at Drogheda, County Louth, Ireland.^1,2
     From 1906, her married name became Butler.

     Frances Isabel Butler was born on 8 November 1875 at Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G.^1,2 She was the daughter of James Butler and Mary Elizabeth Alley.¹ She married Ernest Pitman, son of Sir Isaac Pitman and Isabella Masters, on 22 July 1896 at Hungerford, Berkshire, England^G.¹ She died on 25 November 1957 at age 82.¹
     From 22 July 1896, her married name became Pitman.

     Ernest Pitman was born on 30 August 1864.² He was the son of Sir Isaac Pitman and Isabella Masters.² He married Frances Isabel Butler, daughter of James Butler and Mary Elizabeth Alley, on 22 July 1896 at Hungerford, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He died on 7 August 1948 at age 83 at Chipping Sodbury, Gloucestershire, England^G.^1,3
