     Richard Beamish was born on 16 July 1798.¹ He was the son of William Beamish and Anne Jane Margaret Delacour.¹ He married Theodosia Mary Heise, daughter of Lt.-Col. Augustus Charles Heise Heise and Theodosia Arabella King, in 1831.¹ He died on 20 November 1873 at age 75.¹
     He gained the rank of between 1815 and 1819 in the Coldstream Guards.¹ He was registered as a Member, Institution of Civil Engineers (M.I.C.E.) in 1829.¹ He was appointed Fellow, Royal Society (F.R.S.) in 1836.¹ He was a civil engineer.¹ He wrote the book Life of Brunel, and other works.¹ He lived at Woolston Lawn, Southampton, Hampshire, England^G.¹

     Theodosia Mary Heise was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Augustus Charles Heise Heise and Theodosia Arabella King.¹ She married Richard Beamish, son of William Beamish and Anne Jane Margaret Delacour, in 1831.¹ She died on 23 April 1874.¹
     From 1831, her married name became Beamish.¹

     Lt.-Col. Augustus Charles Heise Heise married Theodosia Arabella King, daughter of Reverend William King.¹
     He was appointed Knight, Hanoverian Order (K.H.)¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)¹

     Theodosia Arabella King was the daughter of Reverend William King.¹ She married Lt.-Col. Augustus Charles Heise Heise.¹
     Her married name became Heise.¹

     Reverend William King was the Rector at Mallow, County Cork, Ireland^G.¹

     Captain Richard Pigott Beamish was born on 21 June 1832.¹ He was the son of Richard Beamish and Theodosia Mary Heise.¹ He married Hulda Elizabeth Constance Mosander, daughter of Charles Gustavus Mosander, on 20 May 1858.¹ He died on 7 June 1899 at age 66.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the West Cork Militia.¹ He lived at Harmony Lodge, Carrigtwohill, County Cork, Ireland^G.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He lived at Ashbourne, Glounthaune, County Cork, Ireland^G.¹

     Hulda Elizabeth Constance Mosander was the daughter of Charles Gustavus Mosander.¹ She married Captain Richard Pigott Beamish, son of Richard Beamish and Theodosia Mary Heise, on 20 May 1858.¹ She died on 24 December 1892.¹
     From 20 May 1858, her married name became Beamish.¹

     Charles Gustavus Mosander was Professor of Chemistry at Royal Academy of Sciences, Stockholm, Sweden^G.¹ He was appointed Knight of the North Star of Sweden.¹

     Richard Henrick Beamish was born on 16 June 1861.¹ He was the son of Captain Richard Pigott Beamish and Hulda Elizabeth Constance Mosander.¹ He married Violet Edith Campbell, daughter of Lt.-Gen. Sir William Pitcairn Campbell and Edith Prothero, on 14 October 1903.¹ He died on 23 February 1938 at age 76.¹
     He was educated at Haileybury College, Haileybury, Hertfordshire, England^G.¹ He was the first Chairman and Managing Director of Beamish & Crawford, Ltd between 1901 and 1930.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)¹ He held the office of Mayor of Cork in 1906.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of the City of Cork in 1907, and again in 1911.¹ He was appointed Fellow, Linnean Society (F.L.S.)¹ He held the office of Member of Dáil Éireann in 1923.¹ He held the office of Alderman until 1931.¹ He lived at Ashbourne, Glounthaune, County Cork, Ireland^G.¹

     Violet Edith Campbell was the daughter of Lt.-Gen. Sir William Pitcairn Campbell and Edith Prothero.^1,2 She married Richard Henrick Beamish, son of Captain Richard Pigott Beamish and Hulda Elizabeth Constance Mosander, on 14 October 1903.¹ She died on 15 January 1939.¹
     From 14 October 1903, her married name became Beamish.¹
