     Thomas Ricketts Whitney was the son of William Whitney.¹ He married Charlotte Sophia Beamish, daughter of Richard Beamish and Susan Becher Hungerford, on 25 April 1873 in a childless marriage.¹ He died on 27 November 1887.¹

     William Whitney lived at Knocknaffe, County Cork, Ireland^G.¹

     Boyle Fitzhenry Travers was the son of Henry Boyle Travers and Gertrude Elizabeth Beamish.^1,2 He married Charlotte Sophia Beamish, daughter of Richard Beamish and Susan Becher Hungerford, on 27 December 1892 in a childless marriage.¹ He died on 8 May 1896.¹

     Henry Boyle Travers was the son of Boyle Travers.² He married Gertrude Elizabeth Beamish, daughter of Henry Baldwin Beamish and Anne Marmion, on 29 October 1857, with issue.² He died on 31 March 1913.²
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He lived at Ballymacowen, County Cork, Ireland^G.²

     George Beamish was born in 1803.¹ He was the son of George Beamish and Catherine Baldwin.¹ He married Sophia Anne Maria Cranfield Hungerford Orpen, daughter of Samuel Orpen and Bridgette Sophia Hungerford, in 1830.¹ He was buried on 30 December 1914.¹
     He lived at Youghal Cottage, Youghal, County Cork, Ireland^G.¹

     Sophia Anne Maria Cranfield Hungerford Orpen was the daughter of Samuel Orpen and Bridgette Sophia Hungerford.^1,2 She married George Beamish, son of George Beamish and Catherine Baldwin, in 1830.¹ She was buried on 7 February 1875.¹
     From 1830, her married name became Beamish.¹

     Samuel Orpen was the son of Richard Orpen and Anne Townsend.² He married Bridgette Sophia Hungerford, daughter of Thomas Hungerford and Mary Cranfield Becher, on 5 August 1805.² He died in 1826.²
     He lived at Woodville, Kilgarvan, County Kerry, Ireland^G.²

     George Beamish was born in 1832.¹ He was the son of George Beamish and Sophia Anne Maria Cranfield Hungerford Orpen.¹ He married Annie Maria Beamish, daughter of Richard Beamish and Susan Becher Hungerford, on 30 August 1873.¹ He was buried on 30 December 1914.¹
     He lived at Corriga Lodge, Ballinascarty, County Cork, Ireland^G.¹

     Richard Baldwin Beamish was born between 1873 and 1878.¹ He was the son of George Beamish and Annie Maria Beamish.¹

     Charles Hungerford Beamish was born on 11 November 1880, (this birthdate, and that of his sister Rhoda, are in question since they are just four and one half months apart.)¹ He was the son of George Beamish and Annie Maria Beamish.¹ He married Nellie Isabel Maude Reid, daughter of William Blackwell Reid, on 7 December 1916.¹ He died on 13 September 1955 at age 74.¹
     He was a Station Master with the Tasmanian Railways until his retirement in 1943.¹ He lived at 28 Commercial Road, Corriga, North Hobart, Tasmania, Australia^G.¹
