     Major Norcott d’Esterre Roberts was the son of Richard William Roberts.¹ He married Eileen Elizabeth Susan Harriet Beamish, daughter of Thomas Beamish and Anna Jane Topp, on 15 September 1909 in a childless marriage.¹ He died on 2 June 1945.¹
     He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Army Veterinary Corps (R.A.V.C.)¹
