     Thomas Peter Worthington Beamish was born on 5 October 1930.¹ He is the son of Sampson Thomas Beamish and Winifred Maude.²
     He was educated at St. Columba’s^G.¹ He lived at Ballyadam House, Carrigtwohill, County Cork, Ireland^G.¹

     – her will, (dated 30 March 1642), was probated in Cork, County Cork, Ireland^G, later that year.¹
     Her married name became Beamish.¹ Catherine (?) was living in 1642.¹ Among the list of English settlers in Ireland temp Elizabeth I, appear the names of “Beamish” or “Beamis”. The lands granted to the members of the family in County Cork were confirmed to three brothers under the Act of Settlement by Patent on 24 April 1668, (20 Charles II.) Catherine (?) was the mother of the three patentees.¹

     John Beamish was the son of Catherine (?)¹ He married Elizabeth Philpott, daughter of Isaac Philpott.¹
     He lived at West Gully, Ballymoden, County Cork, Ireland^G.¹ His last will was dated 18 October 1668.¹

     Elizabeth Philpott was the daughter of Isaac Philpott.¹ She married John Beamish, son of Catherine (?).¹
     Her married name became Beamish.¹

     Isaac Philpott lived at Cloncaloo, County Cork, Ireland^G.¹

     John Beamish was the son of John Beamish and Elizabeth Philpott.¹ He married Susan Evanson, daughter of Nathaniel Evanson, in 1678.¹

     Susan Evanson was the daughter of Nathaniel Evanson.¹ She married John Beamish, son of John Beamish and Elizabeth Philpott, in 1678.¹
     From 1678, her married name became Beamish.¹

     Nathaniel Evanson lived at Castledonovan, County Cork, Ireland^G.¹

     Nathaniel Beamish was the son of John Beamish and Susan Evanson.¹ He married Elizabeth Gordon in 1706.¹
     He lived at Cork, County Cork, Ireland^G.¹
