     Richard Gustavus Atkinson was born on 5 May 1850.¹ He was the son of Richard Atkinson and Mary Jane Elizabeth Golding.¹ He died on 10 October 1850.¹

     Venerable Edward Dupré Atkinson was born on 2 February 1855.¹ He was the son of Richard Atkinson and Mary Jane Elizabeth Golding.¹ He married Katherine Elisabeth L’ Estrange, daughter of Major-Gen. Edmund L’ Estrange and Rebecca Dorothea Colthurst, on 10 October 1878, they were cousins.¹ He died on 26 April 1937 at age 82.¹
     He was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, England^G.¹ He graduated from Caius College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Bachelor of Laws (L.L.B.)¹ He was a practising Barrister-at-law in 1878.¹ He was the Deacon between 1880 and 1884 at Seapatrick, Banbridge, County Down, Ireland^G.¹ He was the Rector between 1884 and 1918 at Donaghvloney, Waringstown, County Down, Ireland^G.¹ He held the office of Archdeacon of Dromore.¹ He was the Vicar between 1919 and 1931 at Kilbroney, Rostrevor, County Down, Ireland^G.¹ He wrote the book Recollections of an Ulster Archdeacon, and various other works.¹ He lived at Gortmore, Dundrum, County Dublin, Ireland^G.¹

     Katherine Elisabeth L’ Estrange was the daughter of Major-Gen. Edmund L’ Estrange and Rebecca Dorothea Colthurst.¹ She married Venerable Edward Dupré Atkinson, son of Richard Atkinson and Mary Jane Elizabeth Golding, on 10 October 1878, they were cousins.¹ She died on 22 September 1922.¹
     From 10 October 1878, her married name became Atkinson.¹

     Major-Gen. Edmund L’ Estrange married Rebecca Dorothea Colthurst, daughter of Reverend John Colthurst.¹
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He lived at Kilcummin, Banagher, County Offaly, Ireland^G.¹

     Rebecca Dorothea Colthurst was the daughter of Reverend John Colthurst.¹ She married Major-Gen. Edmund L’ Estrange.¹
     Her married name became L’ Estrange.¹

     Reverend John Colthurst was the Rector at Bovevagh, County Londonderry, Ireland^G.¹

     Richard Guy Atkinson was born on 21 August 1879.¹ He was the son of Venerable Edward Dupré Atkinson and Katherine Elisabeth L’ Estrange.¹
     He lived at Tandragee, County Armagh, Ireland^G.¹

     Edward Arthur Atkinson was born on 30 November 1885.¹ He was the son of Venerable Edward Dupré Atkinson and Katherine Elisabeth L’ Estrange.¹ He died on 28 November 1952 at age 66.¹
