     Lady Augusta Henrietta Scott was born on 13 May 1836.2 She was the daughter of John Scott, 2nd Earl of Eldon and Hon. Louisa Duncombe.1,3 She married Thomas Francis Fremantle, 2nd Baron Cottesloe, son of Thomas Francis Fremantle, 1st Baron Cottesloe and Louisa Elizabeth Nugent, on 9 September 1859.1 She died on 4 November 1906 at age 70 at Swanbourne, Buckinghamshire, EnglandG.4
     From 9 September 1859, her married name became Fremantle. After her marriage, Lady Augusta Henrietta Scott was styled as Baroness Cottesloe on 3 December 1890.
