     Hew Seton Montgomerie was born on 23 June 1898.¹ He was the son of Roger Arnulph Montgomerie and Annie Mason.² He married Violet Muriel Rait, daughter of Donald Harry Rait, in 1938.¹ He died on 12 August 1969 at age 71.²
     He fought in the First World War.² He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Sherwood Foresters.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Air Force.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) [New Zealand] in 1930.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the New Zealand Temporary Staff.² He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.² He gained the rank of Flying Officer in the Royal New Zealand Air Force.²

     Donald Harry Rait was registered as a Member, Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (M.R.C.V.S.)¹

     Violet Muriel Rait was the daughter of Donald Harry Rait.² She married Hew Seton Montgomerie, son of Roger Arnulph Montgomerie and Annie Mason, in 1938.¹ She died in 1976.¹
     From 1938, her married name became Montgomerie.

     Susana Seton Montgomerie was born on 20 April 1940.¹ She is the daughter of Hew Seton Montgomerie and Violet Muriel Rait.²

     Egidia Seton Montgomerie was born on 24 July 1942.¹ She is the daughter of Hew Seton Montgomerie and Violet Muriel Rait.² She married Jerome Robert DesRoches in 1980.¹
     From 1980, her married name became DesRoches. She lived in 2003 at 17 Morey Road, Cable Bay, Mangonui, New Zealand^G.¹

     Jerome Robert DesRoches married Egidia Seton Montgomerie, daughter of Hew Seton Montgomerie and Violet Muriel Rait, in 1980.¹ He died on 12 May 2000.¹

     Annie Hylda Winifred Montgomerie was born on 24 May 1894.¹ She was the daughter of Roger Arnulph Montgomerie and Annie Mason.² She died on 21 February 1970 at age 75, unmarried.¹
     Annie Hylda Winifred Montgomerie usually went by her middle name of Winifred.²

     Sybil Alexandra Montgomerie was born on 29 October 1902.¹ She was the daughter of Roger Arnulph Montgomerie and Annie Mason.² She married David Rayney Jackson, son of Edward Rayney Jackson, on 5 August 1925.¹ She died in 1986.²
     From 5 August 1925, her married name became Jackson.

     Edward Rayney Jackson lived at Wanganui, New Zealand^G.¹

     David Rayney Jackson was the son of Edward Rayney Jackson.² He married Sybil Alexandra Montgomerie, daughter of Roger Arnulph Montgomerie and Annie Mason, on 5 August 1925.¹ He died on 21 November 1968.¹
