     Roger Oswald Montgomerie was born on 13 October 1896.1 He was the son of Roger Arnulph Montgomerie and Annie Mason.2 He married Beryl Victoria Clark, daughter of Guy Carlton Clark, in 1940.1 He died on 4 December 1965 at age 69.2
     He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Flying Corps.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Air Force.2
