     Reverend Richard Henry Cotter was born on 5 February 1831.¹ He was the son of Reverend Joseph Rogerson Cotter and Mary Purcell.² He married Sarah Pearce Lawrenson, daughter of W. J. Lawrenson, on 18 May 1861.¹ He died in 1898.¹
     He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He was the Incumbent at Ardcanny, County Limerick, Ireland^G.¹

     Sarah Pearce Lawrenson is the daughter of W. J. Lawrenson.² She married Reverend Richard Henry Cotter, son of Reverend Joseph Rogerson Cotter and Mary Purcell, on 18 May 1861.¹
     From 18 May 1861, her married name became Cotter.

     Joseph Henry Cotter was born on 1 January 1867.¹ He was the son of Reverend Richard Henry Cotter and Sarah Pearce Lawrenson.² He married Ethel Mary Cotter, daughter of Surgn.-Col. Samuel Kyle Cotter and Alice Jamieson, in 1896.¹ He died in 1937.¹
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) [Manitoba]¹

     Henry Haskins Ferrell lived at Goochland, Virginia, U.S.A.^G.¹

     Ethel Mary Cotter was the daughter of Surgn.-Col. Samuel Kyle Cotter and Alice Jamieson.² She married Joseph Henry Cotter, son of Reverend Richard Henry Cotter and Sarah Pearce Lawrenson, in 1896.¹ She died on 31 July 1960.¹

     Charles Henry Cotter was born in 1898.¹ He was the son of Joseph Henry Cotter and Ethel Mary Cotter.² He married Louise Ray, daughter of John Wesley Ray, in 1924.¹ He died in 1976.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Field Artillery (Special Reserves.)¹
