     Theodore John Chichester Acton was born on 18 August 1886.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. Thomas Hampden Evans Acton and Olivia Charlotte Jessie May.¹ He married Margaret de Carteret Martin, daughter of Stephen Joseph Martin, on 3 February 1913.¹ He died on 26 May 1968 at age 81.¹
     He was educated at Shrewsbury School, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at Keble College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ He was in the Indian Civil Service between 1911 and 1946.¹ He lived at Golden Furlong, Brackley, Northamptonshire, England^G.¹

     Margaret de Carteret Martin was the daughter of Stephen Joseph Martin.¹ She married Theodore John Chichester Acton, son of Lt.-Col. Thomas Hampden Evans Acton and Olivia Charlotte Jessie May, on 3 February 1913.¹ She died on 12 February 1971.¹
     She was awarded the British Empire Medal (B.E.M.)¹ From 3 February 1913, her married name became Acton.

     Stephen Joseph Martin lived at Binsar House, Almora, India^G.¹ He lived at Guernsey, Channel Islands^G.¹

     Major Chichester Charles Hampden Acton was born on 8 February 1916.¹ He is the son of Theodore John Chichester Acton and Margaret de Carteret Martin.¹ He married Denise Bradfield, daughter of Canon William Bradfield, on 29 January 1949.¹
     He was educated at Shrewsbury School, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at Queen’s College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ He fought in Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Garhwal Rifles.¹ He was employed by the Government of Northern Rodesia between 1951 and 1954.¹ He was a manufacturer in Northern Rodesia and Zambia between 1954 and 1971.¹ He retired in 1971.¹ As of 1976, Major Chichester Charles Hampden Acton lived at P.O. Box 13, Bathurst, Cape Province, South Africa^G.¹

     Denise Bradfield is the daughter of Canon William Bradfield.¹ She married Major Chichester Charles Hampden Acton, son of Theodore John Chichester Acton and Margaret de Carteret Martin, on 29 January 1949.¹
     From 29 January 1949, her married name became Acton.

     Canon William Bradfield lived at Munterconnaught Rectory, Virginia, County Cavan, Ireland^G.¹ He graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹

     Thomas John Hampden Acton was born on 29 July 1923.¹ He was the son of Theodore John Chichester Acton and Margaret de Carteret Martin.¹ He married Elizabeth Monica Lambert on 29 December 1953.¹ He died on 22 May 1984 at age 60 at Northampton, Northamptonshire, England.²
