     Robert Cochrane of that Ilk is the son of Allan Cochrane of that Ilk.¹
     In 1488 he had saisine of the lands of Cochrane.¹ On 2 January 1516/17 he resigned his lands in favour of his son.¹

     John Moffat married Jessie Fulton Arthur, daughter of James Arthur of Carlung and Jane Glen, on 18 November 1874.² He died on 22 March 1882.
     He was registered as a Civil Engineer (C.E.)¹ He lived at Ardrossan, Ayrshire, Scotland^G.¹

     Elizabeth Sempill married John Cochrane of that Ilk, son of Robert Cochrane of that Ilk.¹
     Her married name became Cochrane.¹

     Marion Stewart married, firstly, John Cochrane of that Ilk, son of John Cochrane of that Ilk and Elizabeth Sempill.¹ She married, secondly, John Gibson before 1556.¹
     Her married name became Cochrane.¹ From before 1556, her married name became Gibson.¹

     John Gibson married Marion Stewart before 1556.¹

     David Cochrane is the son of John Cochrane of that Ilk and Marion Stewart.¹
     He was living on 28 May 1536.¹

     Elizabeth Sempill married John Cochrane of that Ilk, son of John Cochrane of that Ilk and Marion Stewart.¹
     She lived at Fulwood, Scotland^G.¹ Her married name became Cochrane.¹

     Elizabeth Montgomerie was the daughter of Robert Montgomerie of Skelmorlie.¹ She married William Cochrane of that Ilk, son of John Cochrane of that Ilk and Elizabeth Sempill, circa 1579.¹ She died on 15 August 1594.¹
     From circa 1579, her married name became Cochrane.¹

     Dorothy Cochrane was the daughter of William Cochrane of that Ilk and Elizabeth Montgomerie.¹ She died circa 1601.¹
