     Herbert Godsal was the son of Philip William Godsal.² He married Helen Margaret Scrymgeour-Wedderburn, daughter of Henry Scrymgeour-Wedderburn of Wedderburn and Birkhill and Juliana Braddell, on 16 October 1901.¹ He died on 22 September 1932.¹

     Charles Philip Lloyd Godsal was born on 26 October 1907.¹ He is the son of Herbert Godsal and Helen Margaret Scrymgeour-Wedderburn.²

     Mary Turner Scrymgeour-Wedderburn was the daughter of Henry Scrymgeour-Wedderburn of Wedderburn and Birkhill and Juliana Braddell.² She married Brig.-Gen. James Dalgleish Heriot-Maitland, son of Maj.-Gen. Sir James Makgill Heriot-Maitland and Frances Lorne Mary Campbell, on 3 August 1903.¹ She died on 11 March 1937.²
     From 3 August 1903, her married name became Heriot-Maitland.

     Maj.-Gen. Sir James Makgill Heriot-Maitland was born on 14 June 1837.² He was the son of James Maitland-Heriot and Margaret Dalgleish.² He married, firstly, Frances Lorne Mary Campbell, daughter of General Sir John Campbell, on 28 November 1872.² He married, secondly, Jessie Stewart Hutchings, daughter of Captain George Hutchings, on 4 October 1882.² He died on 26 August 1902 at age 65.²
     He was given the name of James Makgill Maitland-Heriot at birth.² He gained the rank of Major-General in the Royal Engineers.² He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)²

     Brig.-Gen. James Dalgleish Heriot-Maitland was born on 21 January 1874.² He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Sir James Makgill Heriot-Maitland and Frances Lorne Mary Campbell.² He married Mary Turner Scrymgeour-Wedderburn, daughter of Henry Scrymgeour-Wedderburn of Wedderburn and Birkhill and Juliana Braddell, on 3 August 1903.¹ He died on 18 January 1958 at age 83.²
     He was also known as James Dalgleish Maitland.² He was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, England^G.² He fought in the Boer War, where he was mentioned in despatches and was severely wounded.² He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1900.² He fought in the First World War.² He gained the rank of Colonel in the Rifle Brigade.² He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1916.² He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Perthshire.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Perthshire.² He gained the rank of Honorary Brigadier-General in 1922.²

     Anne Grizel Scrymgeour-Wedderburn was the daughter of Henry Scrymgeour-Wedderburn of Wedderburn and Birkhill and Juliana Braddell.² She died on 20 December 1954, unmarried.¹

     Katherine Elspeth Scrymgeour-Wedderburn was the daughter of Henry Scrymgeour-Wedderburn of Wedderburn and Birkhill and Juliana Braddell.² She died on 5 November 1940, unmarried.¹

     Juliet Scrymgeour-Wedderburn was the daughter of Henry Scrymgeour-Wedderburn of Wedderburn and Birkhill and Juliana Braddell.² She died on 28 February 1956, unmarried.¹

     Maud Kathleen Scrymgeour-Wedderburn was the daughter of Henry Scrymgeour-Wedderburn of Wedderburn and Birkhill and Juliana Braddell.² She married Lt.-Col. James Charles Walter Connel on 9 August 1910.¹ She died on 31 January 1925.¹

     Lt.-Col. James Charles Walter Connel married Maud Kathleen Scrymgeour-Wedderburn, daughter of Henry Scrymgeour-Wedderburn of Wedderburn and Birkhill and Juliana Braddell, on 9 August 1910.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the King’s Own Scottish Borderers.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)¹
