     Charlotte Renton Stuart was born in 1828 at Wisbech, Cambridgeshire, England.^2,3 She was the daughter of Bute Stuart and Ann Jane Boultbee.^1,2 She married Charles Alphonse Massy, son of Major William Massy and Sophie Rose Peschier, on 11 December 1851 at St. John’s Church, Reid, Canberra, A.C.T., Australia^G, Note that Canberra was not created until 1901, although this church was built in 1844.^1,3 She died on 28 January 1908 at Douglas, Bungendore, New South Wales, Australia.^1,3
     From 11 December 1851, her married name became Massy.¹

     Bute Stuart is the son of James Stuart and Mary Nicholson.^2,3 He married, secondly, Ann Jane Boultbee.² He married, firstly, Lillias Johnston, daughter of William Johnston, on 23 January 1815.²

     Charles Augustus Eyre Massy was born in June 1855.¹ He was the son of Charles Alphonse Massy and Charlotte Renton Stuart.¹ He died on 6 June 1885 at Queensland, Australia^G, from a spear wound.¹

     Oscar Henry Massy was born on 15 October 1857.¹ He was the son of Charles Alphonse Massy and Charlotte Renton Stuart.¹ He married Alice Mary Holmes on 26 February 1904.² He died on 3 September 1929 at age 71 at Gundaroo House, Graceville, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.²
     Oscar Henry Massy also went by the nick-name of Harry.²

     Gerald Murray Clarke Massy was born on 2 December 1859.¹ He was the son of Charles Alphonse Massy and Charlotte Renton Stuart.¹ He married Jessie Hilda Heath, although this marriage was later held by the courts to be a ‘fraud marriage.¹‘ He died on 23 June 1929 at age 69 at Ryde, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, without issue.^1,2

     Jessie Hilda Heath married Gerald Murray Clarke Massy, son of Charles Alphonse Massy and Charlotte Renton Stuart, although this marriage was later held by the courts to be a ‘fraud marriage.¹‘
     Her married name became Massy.¹

     George Bute Massy was born in 1861.^1,2 He was the son of Charles Alphonse Massy and Charlotte Renton Stuart.¹ He died on 16 April 1884.²
