     Elizabeth Benfield was the daughter of unknown Fowler.¹ She married Richard Poyntz, son of Captain John Poyntz.¹ She died circa April 1730.¹ She was buried on 3 May 1730.¹
     Her married name became Poyntz.

     John Poyntz was baptised on 12 June 1677.¹ He was the son of Richard Poyntz and Elizabeth Benfield.² He died circa October 1702, unmarried.¹ He was buried on 23 October 1702.¹

     Richard Poyntz was baptised on 24 August 1679.¹ He was the son of Richard Poyntz and Elizabeth Benfield.² He married, firstly, Judith Wakeman on 14 December 1697 at St. Mary, Brixham, Devon, England.³ He married, secondly, Ann Watts on 27 January 1728 at St. Mary, Elm, Somerset, England.^1,3 He died before April 1759.¹ His will was proven (by probate) on 25 April 1759.¹
     He was a clothier at Mells, Somerset, England^G.¹

     Ann Watts married Richard Poyntz, son of Richard Poyntz and Elizabeth Benfield, on 27 January 1728 at St. Mary, Elm, Somerset, England.^1,2 She died circa May 1741.¹ She was buried on 13 May 1741.¹
     From 27 January 1728, her married name became Poyntz.

     Sydenham Poyntz was baptised on 12 August 1706.¹ He was the son of Richard Poyntz and Judith Wakeman.² He married Elizabeth Tucket on 17 June 1762.¹ He died circa February 1768, without issue.¹ He was buried on 11 February 1768.¹
     He lived at Midsomer Norton, Somerset, England^G.¹

     Elizabeth Tucket married Sydenham Poyntz, son of Richard Poyntz and Judith Wakeman, on 17 June 1762.¹ She died before March 1788.¹ Her will was proven (by probate) on 22 March 1788.¹
     From 17 June 1762, her married name became Poyntz.

     Newdigate Poyntz was the son of Richard Poyntz and Judith Wakeman.² He married Elizabeth (?)¹ He died circa January 1739/40.¹ He was buried on 15 January 1739/40.¹
     He lived at Nunney, Somerset, England^G.¹

     Elizabeth (?) married Newdigate Poyntz, son of Richard Poyntz and Judith Wakeman.¹ She died circa May 1762.¹ She was buried on 31 May 1762.¹
