     Anna Frances Shelley usually went by her middle name of Frances.¹ From 27 June 1983, her married name became Cavendish.²

     Spencer Shelley was born on 14 April 1920.² He was the son of Spencer Shelley and Gladys Mulligan.² He married Anna Maureen Owen, daughter of Cdre Trevor Lewis Owen, on 29 June 1946.² He died on 1 April 2009 at age 88 at Crieff, Perthshire, Scotland.³

     Anthony Peter Coote Sykes was born in 1935 at Marylebone, London, England.² He is the son of Lt.-Col. Peter Thomas Wellesley Sykes and Nina Violet Eyre Coote.^1,2 He married Harriet Moyra Aline Cavendish, daughter of Richard Edward Osborne Cavendish and Pamela June Thomas, on 12 August 1972.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Scots Greys.¹

     Lt.-Col. Peter Thomas Wellesley Sykes was born in December 1903.² He was the son of Lt.-Col. Harold Platt Sykes and Winifred Charlotte Jane Wellesley.³ He married, firstly, Nina Violet Eyre Coote, daughter of Colonel Charles Henry Eyre Coote and Evelyn Alice Gartside, on 16 September 1931.³ He married, secondly, Violet Hanander Christie Miller in 1937 at St. Mark, North Audley Street, London, England.² He died in 1975 at Bath, Somerset, England.²
     He lived at Chilterne House, Warminster, Wiltshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of officer in the Queen’s Bays.³ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)¹
