     Lt.-Gen. Hugh Royds Stokes Massy was born on 5 January 1884.¹ He was the son of Arthur Wellington Massy and Emma Elizabeth Rhys Stokes.² He married Maud Ina Nest Roch, daughter of Colonel Thomas James Roch, on 12 November 1912.¹ He died on 21 May 1965 at age 81.²
     He was educated at Bradfield College, Berkshire, England^G.² He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Woolwich, Kent, England^G.¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) in 1916.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1917.¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹ He was Brigadier of the Southern Command between 1934 and 1938.¹ He was Director of Military Training at the War Office between 1938 and 1939.² He fought in the Second World War.² He was Deputy Chief of the Imperial General Staff between 1939 and 1940.² He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1940.¹ He retired from the military in 1943, with the rank of Honorary Lieutenant-General.² He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) in 1944.¹ He gained the rank of Colonel Commandant in 1945 in the Royal Artillery.² He held the office of High Sheriff of Pembrokeshire in 1946.²

     Colonel Thomas James Roch held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)¹

     Maud Ina Nest Roch was the daughter of Colonel Thomas James Roch.² She married Lt.-Gen. Hugh Royds Stokes Massy, son of Arthur Wellington Massy and Emma Elizabeth Rhys Stokes, on 12 November 1912.¹ She died on 9 October 1960.¹
     From 12 November 1912, her married name became Massy.

     Lt.-Col. Hugh Peter Stokes Massy was born on 27 February 1914.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Gen. Hugh Royds Stokes Massy and Maud Ina Nest Roch.² He married Jean Kidston, daughter of S/Ldr. M. G. Kidston, on 10 October 1945.¹ He died on 27 August 1998 at age 84.²
     He was educated at Bradfield College, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.² He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Tank Regiment.¹ He fought in the Korean War.²

     S/Ldr. M. G. Kidston gained the rank of Squadron Leader in the Royal Air Force. He lived at Kenya^G.¹

     Jean Kidston was the daughter of S/Ldr. M. G. Kidston.² She married Lt.-Col. Hugh Peter Stokes Massy, son of Lt.-Gen. Hugh Royds Stokes Massy and Maud Ina Nest Roch, on 10 October 1945.¹ She died in 1993.¹
     From 10 October 1945, her married name became Massy.

     Diana Rosamund Massy was born on 16 May 1947.¹ She is the daughter of Lt.-Col. Hugh Peter Stokes Massy and Jean Kidston.² She married Lt.-Col. Philip Eric Scott, son of Major Eric Inman Scott and Leila Philippa Parry-Jones, in 1973.¹
     She was given the name of Diana Rosamund Massy at birth. On 15 March 1967 her name was legally changed to Diana Rosamund Peel by Deed Poll.³ From 1973, her married name became Scott.

     Oscar Thomas Howorth Greenly was born on 6 January 2015.¹ He is the son of Thomas Richard Howorth Greenly and Candice Brockwell.¹

     James Scott was born in 1975.¹ He is the son of Lt.-Col. Philip Eric Scott and Diana Rosamund Massy.²
