     Lady Henrietta Mary Rose Stanley was born on 6 February 1997.¹ She is the daughter of Edward Richard William Stanley, 19th Earl of Derby and Hon. Caroline Emma Neville.¹

     John de Stanley was the son of Sir John de Stanley and Isabel de Lathom.¹ He married Isabel Harington, daughter of Sir John Harington.¹ He died on 27 November 1437.¹
     He held the office of Sovereign Lord of the Isle of Man.¹ He held the office of Steward of Macclesfield in February 1413/14.¹ He also had two daughters.¹

     He held the office of Lord Depute of Ireland between 1386 and 1388.¹ He held the office of Justiciary [Ireland] between 1389 and 1391.¹ He held the office of Justice of Chester in 1394.¹ He held the office of Controller of the Royal Household in 1399.¹ He held the office of Lieutenant of Ireland between 1399 and 1401.¹ He was Steward of the Household to the Prince of Wales circa 1403, later King Henry V.¹ He was Surveyor of the Forests of Macclesfield, Mare and Mondrem, Cheshire in 1403.¹ He held the office of Governor of the City and County of Cheshire in 1403.¹ He was appointed Knight, Order of the Garter (K.G.) circa 1405.¹ He held the office of Steward of Macclesfield.¹ In 1406 he was granted the Isle, Castle, peel and Lordship of Man, by King Henry IV.¹ He held the office of Sovereign Lord of the Isle of Man in 1406.¹ He held the office of Constable of Windsor Castle in 1409.¹ He held the office of Lieutenant of Ireland between 1413 and 1419.¹ He also had two daughters.¹

     William de Stanley was the son of John de Stanley and Mabel Hawkset.¹ He married Alice Massey, daughter of Sir Hamon Massey.¹ He died circa 1398.¹
     He gained the title of Lord of the Manor of Stourton [feudal baron].¹ He held the office of Hereditary Forester of Wirral Forest in 1361/62.¹ He also had a daughter.¹

     John de Stanley is the son of William (II) de Stanley and Joan de Baumvile.¹ He married Mabel Hawkset, daughter of Sir James Hawkset.¹
     He gained the title of Lord of the Manor of Stourton [feudal baron].¹

     Sarah Ford is the daughter of Neville Montagu Ford and Patricia Smiles.¹ She married William Michael John Grylls, son of Brigadier William Edward Harvey Grylls and Rachel Elizabeth Knapp.¹
     Her married name became Grylls.¹

     William Michael John Grylls was born in 1934.¹ He was the son of Brigadier William Edward Harvey Grylls and Rachel Elizabeth Knapp.¹ He married Sarah Ford, daughter of Neville Montagu Ford and Patricia Smiles.¹ He died in 2001.¹
     William Michael John Grylls usually went by his middle name of Michael.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)¹

     Edward Michael Grylls is the son of William Michael John Grylls and Sarah Ford.¹ He married Shara Cannings Knight.¹
