Donald Alan Colquhoun was born on 19 January 1920 at Chelsea, London, England.1,2 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Sir Iain Colquhoun of Luss, 7th Bt. and Geraldine Bryde Dinah Tennant.3 He married Josephine Griselda Janson, daughter of Charles Wilfred Janson, on 19 November 1946.1 He died on 16 January 1992 at age 71 at Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland.1,2
He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Scots Guards.1 He fought in the Second World War between 1939 and 1946.1
