     Sir John Colquhoun of Luss, 1st Bt. was the son of Sir Alexander Colquhoun of Luss and Helen Buchanan.² He married Lady Lilias Graham, daughter of John Graham, 4th Earl of Montrose and Lady Margaret Ruthven, on 6 July 1620.¹ He died circa 1650.¹
     He was created 1st Baronet Colquhoun, of Luss [Nova Scotia] on 30 August 1625, with a special remainder to heirs male whatsoever.¹ In 1632 a warrant was issued for his arrest on charge of abducting his sister-in-law, Katherine, the life-rents of his estates being made over to Sir Robert Douglas of Spott, 1st and last Viscount Belhaven, but Sir John’s brother Humphrey recovered the estates.¹

     Humphrey Colquhoun was the son of Sir Alexander Colquhoun of Luss and Helen Buchanan.² He married Margaret Somerville, daughter of Gilbert Somerville, 7th Lord Somerville and Margaret Somerville.¹ He died, without issue.¹
     By his interposition in his brother’s time the estates were saved.¹ He lived at Balvie, Scotland^G.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Dunbartonshire between 1643 and 1649.¹

     Gilbert Somerville, 7th Lord Somerville was the son of Hugh Somerville, 6th Lord Somerville and Eleanor Seton.² He married Margaret Somerville, daughter of Sir James Somerville, 4th of Cambusnethan and Margaret Hamilton, in April 1592.^2,3 He died in 1618.²
     He succeeded as the 7th Lord Somerville [S., 1444] in 1597.²

     Margaret Somerville is the daughter of Gilbert Somerville, 7th Lord Somerville and Margaret Somerville.^2,3 She married Humphrey Colquhoun, son of Sir Alexander Colquhoun of Luss and Helen Buchanan.¹
     Her married name became Colquhoun.¹

     Elizabeth Abercromby was born in 1817 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G.² She was the daughter of Sir Robert Abercromby of Birkenbog, 5th Bt. and Elizabeth Stephenson Douglas.¹ She was baptised on 27 September 1817 at Colinton, Midlothian, Scotland^G.² She married Major William Monro, son of Alexander Monro, on 14 June 1843 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G.^1,2 She died in 1893.³
     From 14 June 1843, her married name became Monro.¹

     Colonel Henry Harington was the son of Reverend James Douglas Harington.¹ He married Ivie Muriel Helen Urquhart, daughter of Major Ives McLean Urquhart, on 7 September 1909.¹ He died on 18 January 1941.¹
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the West Yrokshire Regiment.¹

     Nancy Colquhoun is the daughter of Sir Alexander Colquhoun of Luss and Helen Buchanan.²

     Katherine Colquhoun is the daughter of Sir Alexander Colquhoun of Luss and Helen Buchanan.² She married Sir John Mure of Auchindraine.¹
     Her married name became Mure.

     Sir John Mure of Auchindraine married Katherine Colquhoun, daughter of Sir Alexander Colquhoun of Luss and Helen Buchanan.¹
