     Marie Karoline Sofie Ferdinande Gräfin von Schlieben was born on 28 January 1752 at Gerdauen, Prussia^G.¹ She was the daughter of Karl Leopold Graf von Schlieben and Marie Eleanore Gräfin von Lehndorff.¹ She died on 2 August 1832 at age 80.¹

     F/O. Thomas Henry Jordan Sackville was born on 13 November 1922.¹ He was the son of Herbrand Edward Dundonald Brassey Sackville, 9th Earl De La Warr and Diana Helena Leigh.¹ He died on 14 May 1943 at age 20, missing in action on air operations when his Mustang was shot down near the Dutch coast, presumed killed.¹
     He gained the rank of Flying Officer in the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve.¹ He fought in the Second World War between 1941 and 1943.¹

     Colonel Frank Lucas Netlam Giles was born in 1879.² He married Elgiva Mary Ackland-Allen, daughter of Charles Ackland-Allen and Gertrude Bearcroft, in 1916.³ He died in 1930.³
     He lived at Barn Close, Finchampstead, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1915.¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1923.¹
