     Sir Owen West was the son of Sir Thomas West, 8th Lord la Warre and Eleanor Copley.¹ He married Mary Guildford, daughter of George Guildford and Elizabeth Mortimer.¹ He died on 18 July 1551.¹ He was buried at Wherwell, Hampshire, England.² His will was proven (by probate) on 30 October 1561.²
     His last will was dated 17 July 1551.²

     Sir Adrian Poynings was born illegitimately at Ghent, Belgium.^1,2 He was the son of Sir Edward Poynings and Rose Whethill.^1,2 He married Mary West, daughter of Sir Owen West and Mary Guildford, before 1559.^1,3 He died on 15 February 1570/71 at St. Benet Paul’s Wharf, London, England.² He died intestate and his estate was administered to his widow on 22 February 1570/71.²
